8月4日晚，音乐系为大家倾情呈现了一年一度的古典音乐盛会——Night of the Classics（经典之夜）。
音乐会在F. W. Gamble Hall举行，当晚的演出充分展现了同学们的用心付出、坚持不懈以及音乐上的成长。
节目内容丰富多彩，既有深受喜爱的管弦乐经典曲目、室内乐、合唱作品，也有学生原创作品，甚至还有一支特别的表演队伍——由三位音乐系老师组成的'The Staff Meeting'乐队！
对Symphony Orchestra（交响乐团）而言，这场音乐会是打磨曲目的重要机会，为即将于下周一开始的KBB Music Festival（KBB音乐节）做准备。
这也让Centennial Choir（百年合唱团）有机会演绎新曲目，他们将在本月晚些时候带着这些曲目远赴基督城，参加备受瞩目的Big Sing Finale（全国合唱总决赛），代表Mount Albert Grammar School站上全国舞台。
音乐老师Ms Henderson表示：“我们要特别感谢一直以来悉心指导同学们的Itinerant Music Teachers（巡回音乐教师），正是有了他们全年的付出，才成就了今晚这样精彩的演出。祝贺每一位登台的同学，共同谱写了这个令人难忘的音乐之夜！”

Night of the Classics 2026
On the evening of August 4, the Music Department proudly presented Night of the Classics, our annual classical music concert.
Held in the F. W. Gamble Hall, the evening showcased the dedication, perseverance, and musical growth of our students.
The programme featured orchestral favourites, chamber music, choral works, original student compositions, and even a special performance by 'The Staff Meeting', an ensemble made up of three Music Department teachers!
For our Symphony Orchestra, the concert served as an important opportunity to refine their programme ahead of the KBB Music Festival, which will take place from this coming Monday.
It also gave Centennial Choir the chance to perform new repertoire they will take to the prestigious Big Sing Finale in Christchurch later this month, where they will represent Mount Albert Grammar School on the national stage.
Music Teacher Ms Henderson said, "We would like to extend a special thanks to our Itinerant Music Teachers, who work with our students throughout the year and help make performances like this possible. Congratulations to every student performer on a memorable evening of music!"
